The Tisas Zigana PX-9 is a full sized, striker fired pistol with an 18+1 capacity produced in Turkey and chambered in 9mm. The Zigana looks and feels in many ways like a Springfield XD, they even fit the same holsters, but there are many important differences as well starting with the obvious lack of grip safety which has been replaced with an ambidextrous, frame mounted thumb safety. Unlike many modern striker fired guns that use a trigger blade safety, Tisas has chosen to use a more traditional flat faced, one piece trigger. Up top, Tisas has gone with front and rear serrations for positive slide manipulation and the extractor doubles as a loaded chamber indicator. To the rear of the slide a striker status indicator is there to remind you of the cocked/uncocked status of your firearm. Out front, an accessory rail allows for your choice of weapon light or laser. The PX9 uses readily available Sig P226 pattern double stack magazines and comes with 2 magazines, cleaning kit, paddle holster and a magazine loader.
